Ceramic training course (workshop) in Portugal: The training in Portugal will provide the participants with new skills and experience in ceramics. Through these trainings the participants will gain additional advantages in terms of employment opportunities. Associação Intercultural Amigos da Mobilidade, the partner organization in Portugal, undertakes the overall responsibility for creating the content of trainings, materials and equipments that will be used during the trainings. The duration of the training is 9 days including the travel, 8-16 April 2019. Other partners in the project, Melikgazi Sehit Huseyin Danaci Halk Egitim Merkezi, Consorzio Social Lab Società Cooperativa Sociale, Kedainiu profesinio rengimo centras respectively from Turkey, Italy and Lithuania will send 6 participants for the training in Barcelos, Portugal.
Trainings will be carried out to provide the participants with professional skills and real useful experience from experts who has professional experience to share and already work in traditional Portuguese ceramics and pottery. This certainly will improve knowledge and will offer the participants new ideas. The training will be organized in Barcelos, Portugal with at least 6 participants form each partner institution (who work with project target group, beneficiaries, as well who have competences to work in that area and develop further activities and their implementation, are capable to create professional material in project area). It will help to improve qualification and understanding, to know the practicalities and working process, to get deep knowledge in project thematic area. Round table discussions and reflections will be organized during the trainings too. Participants will share their experience, knowledge in that area gained in national level.
The training activities intending to offer the disadvantaged women employment, and the attractive high quality learning settings offering practical experiences and real life working environment for those women are the primary added values of this project. These oppurtunities motivate our participants to stay and continue adult learning environment. At the same, this learning setting offers the chance to get in contact with different enterprises, to prove themselves, to get an insight to the world of business and to develop particular skills, to become self-confident and concrete perspectives for the future of the participants. In that way this learning setting is a contribution to women’s economic independency and social inclusion.
Transfering the successful learning and training approaches in general formal education to the vocational training and adult learning, which offers the disadvantaged and unemployed women employment and career opportunities, are the among the other primary added values of our project. In that way another added value of the project is its contribution to high qualified employment in general and the development of an European Qualification Framework (EQF) and a European Credit System for Vocational Education (ECVET).
